Overview:
Expedition begins when you arrive to Kathmandu where you meet the staff of Monterosa Treks & Expedition in the airport and transfer you to hotel. Next day, we have introduction section with other climbing members & Expedition crews. Since then we make your Tibet visa and other necessary document for the Everest Expedition.
After 3 day, we drive you towards Nepal-Tibet border up to Friendship Bridge through Arnico Highway, where the Chinese liaison officer and Chinese transport meet us. The expedition gears go by truck while we travel by Land cruiser 4wd. We take time to acclimatize with one night at Zhangmu (2300m) and two nights at Nylam (3750m), which also gives us the chance to trek up high hills for acclimatization.
Next day we drive to Tingri (4350m) where we spend further two nights acclimatizing. Then we drive Tingri to Base camp 5400m along rough way with jerking & bouncing through grassy plain leading up to Everest Base Camp, which is also called Chinese base camp.
We set up our camp at Chinese Base Camp and stay two nights or more, depending on how everyone feels. We also make schedules of the yaks by that time. Base camp is a temporary but comfortable affair with Nepali cook and dining tent. Now the two-day walk towards advanced base camp (ABC) begins.
After waking 2 days, we reach to ABC 6400m along with the Yaks. From ABC the route goes to the east Rongbuk (Everest Base) glacier and after that there is an easy snow slopes to the North Col at 7070m. You have permit only North Col and this call Everest North Col Expedition.
Detailed Description
The trip begins in the ancient and colorful city of Kathmandu. On the Friendship Bridge, border Crossing between Nepal and Tibet. Upon entering Tibet, the clocks immediately go forward by 2 ? hours. Our secondary government liason officer will meet us in Zhangmu. After clearing Tibetan customs and immigration, a Chinese bus takes us up the windy road through the rolling hills to Nyalam town at 3,750 meters, and a basic "hotel". The smaller towns in Tibet are generally simple and rustic places, and this one is no exception. The topography here is quite interesting in that we are perched in the transitional zone where the Tibetan plateau rams into the Himalaya, then drops into the forested valleys and jungles of Nepal, and finally out into the Gangetic plain of the Terai and India. We stay over one extra night in Nyalam, to help adjust to the altitude, and during our "rest-day" in Nyalam, we take advantage of the interesting surroundings to walk to the top of local hills and savor the first glimpses of the Himalayan Giants.

We facilitate highly professional, well trained and qualified climbing Sherpas for your expeditions. Many climbers avoid Sherpa guides for the climbing, so because of this, they have been found to facing many hindrances on their way. If you take Sherpas along with you on the expedition, they are very useful in your each and every step of support, which makes your climbing easier to restore your strained energy; and it gives you vigorous strength for your next day's climbing. Most of the groups, who have gone with the Sherpa guides on the expedition, are found to be succeeded as per our past experiences.
